Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Are vintage kimonos new?

Sometimes. Purchasing a vintage item means you are obtaining a unique item that is rare, one-of-a-kind or often decades old. We also carry deadstock vintage pieces that is 'new' old stock from another era. Please select carefully and keep in mind that vintage and pre-owned items are not new, and therefore inspect and price each item accordingly. While we take pride in offering products in pristine condition, occasionally, vintage kimonos might possess some signs of age, wear, or use which we make note of in our product descriptions.

2. Do you accept returns?

Due to the unique nature of our products we accept returns on a limited basis. If you have any questions or concerns about an item, please ask before purchasing. We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of purchase and the customer pays for shipping. Artist Collaboration products are considered final sale and may not be returned. Returned items must be in the condition in which it was sold. Items that have any odor of smoke, food or pets will not be accepted due to damages. Alterations to our products purchased will result in a refusal to refund.

3. Are the kimonos sized?

We do not label the kimonos with a specific size because kimonos are generally  free-sizing due to the robe-like design of the kimono. Usually,  one-size-fits-most as long as the length of the kimono works for you. Please contact us with any specific size requirements and we will provide the kimono measurements.

4. Do you sell kimonos for men?

Yes! Most of the kimonos are unisex in nature and may be worn by men. We also carry specific Men's style kimonos in a variety of fabrics (silk, cotton, etc.) so please contact us if you have any specific requests.
