Sebastien "Mr. D1987" Boileau is an artist with a rich history and a passion for blending urban art with fine art. Born in Versailles, France, in 1973, Sebastien's journey into the world of art began at a young age, inspired by the American Pop Art movement and early graffiti culture.

Starting his artistic endeavors in Paris at the age of 14, Sebastien quickly made a name for himself, creating his first canvas art piece in 1989 and transitioning to large-scale murals shortly after. His travels in the early '90s took him across the globe, painting in countries like Sierra Leone, Tunisia, and Senegal, broadening his artistic influences.

In 1995, Sebastien participated in his first contemporary art show in Paris, marking a significant milestone in his career. In 1998, he immigrated to the United States, where he founded Eyeful Art Murals and Designs in Houston, Texas, in 2000. Through Eyeful Art, Sebastien merges street art techniques like tagging and drip painting with Neo-Impressionist methods, creating a unique style he calls "Canpressionism."

With over 35 years of experience as an artist, Sebastien remains dedicated to challenging perceptions of urban art. He aims to showcase urban art's legitimacy as fine art, emphasizing emotion over aesthetic. For more information, please visit eyefulart.com.
